7년 만에 다시 찾은 북경은
올림픽을 위해 지은 거대한 건물들 빼고는
달라진 점이 없어 보였다.
가이드 언니가 허름하고 구석진 곳으로만
우릴 데리고 가는 듯 했다.
패키지 중에서도 가장 쌌던 북경 4박5일 여행 후
일행 중 어르신 몇 분은 독한 고뿔로 몸져 누워버리셨다.
Beijing, which had visited again in seven years,
did not seem to have changed
except for the huge buildings built for the Olympics.
The guide seemed to only take us
to fringe shabby places.
After the 5-day trip to Beijing, the cheapest of all package trips,
some of the elderly people were laid down with a heavy cold.
